I am a Mexican American film maker and first-generation graduate from Portland State University. I started to explore filmmaking and editing as a hobby in middle school and high school. At PSU, I was able to connect and form a community with other passionate and creative film students. From working with film equipment, working as an AD, post production editing, live productions, and color grading. I have had the opportunity to expand my filmmaking skills and gain hands-on experience through the PSU film community.
I have learned a lot from my time as manager at Sub-Basement Studios. From troubleshooting, budget reports, and so much more, this organization has built me into the person that I am today. I believe Filmmaking is one of the greatest mediums for creative expression and memorable shared experiences. I hope to continue working in the film industry and challenge my skills to not only be a better person but a better filmmaker.
